Marsha has been racing with Bill since 1979 and still enjoys drag racing. She has the most difficult task of the entire crew - preparing Bill to compete. Marsha's responsibilities also include packing the parachutes, radios and driver's equipment, securely belting Bill into the race car, staging lane operations and backing up the driver after the burnout. Her post race duties continue with cooking, clean up and walking and caring for Gretchen and Deiter.
Marsha now has her own page on our website, Marsha's Racing Results. She will be responibe for reporting on all the races we attend as well as other events. Push Marsha's Racing Results button and read her columns.
PAUL BAIRD:CREW CHIEF
Paul Baird signed on late in 2007, helping the team to the huge win at the 2007 Race Warz event. Paul's knowledge of suspension tuning immediately became instrumental in assuring a higher percentage of completed passes and a more consistent race car. Paul, a senior engineer at the Bosch company, brings to the team many years of racing experience and an engineers analytical mind and demeanor, excelling in data analysis as well as a good wrench. He is responsible for all data analysis (which the team has found to be the key to success) as well as suspension tuning and advising Mike. Paul also works with and advises Bill on the race car during the long winter as well as between races.
Effective July of 2009, Paul took over the reigns of crew chief, leading the Raging Eagle Racing Team to it's first NAPA Auto Parts RWYB championship in dominating fashion. His sacrifice of hundreds of hours of personal time spent setting new priorities and goals, data analysis, tuning the suspension and mastering the race car's new fuel system has paid off in a huge way. His new yearly salary, a check for $100,000.00 is waiting for him to pick up when he finds the time.
RON SIEDLAK: CHIEF MECHANIC
Ron Siedlak joined the Raging Eagle Racing Team in 2006 as our marketing representative as well as a major sponsor. In 2007 we persuaded Ron to tackle the duties of chief mechanic and assistant to our crew chief. He will be responsible for the maintenance of the engine, drive train, suspension, all electronic systems as well as the fuel system. We are thrilled (and relieved) that someone with his diverse knowledge and superb mechanical ability has taken on this very significant position.
BRO PAUL & SIS DYAN
"Brother" Paul (Bill's Bro-in-law) and his wife Dyan joined the crew in 2005 when it became painfully obvious it takes more than four people to race a supercharged pro mod car and still have time for a little fun. Paul is responsible for completely preping the race car before and after each pass, refueling, overall maintenance checks and starting the race car. He also assists Ron with all the mechanical duties. Dyan is responsible for t-shirt sales, picture and hero card distribution, fan relations and downloading the V-300 data logger and weather analysis. She also helps Marsha with all post race necessities.
DEIDER & GRETCHEN: CREW
Marsha and I adopted Gretchen and Deider in February of 2008. They are littermates, very connected, gentle and sweet. They are great with kids and don't possess a mean bone. Their abundance of energy should be an asset to the team, however they are a little short on intellect, which may inhibit their ability to make a substantial contribution towards the team's success. However they will be with us at every race, providing enjoyment at every opportunity.
MILLIE "THE CLOWN" ROWE: CREW
Millie "The Clown" is in charge of crew morale. She is also responsible for retrieving tools and supplies. If it's not where you left it, just ask Millie, she took it.
Note: Millie, born November 4, 1994, died December 15, 2007, is/will be terribly missed by all who knew her. Like her sister Misty, she will never be forgotten and will remain on this web site and a part of the crew for as long as the Raging Eagle Racing team is racing.
MISTY "SWEETHEART" ROWE
Misty has the difficult task of being sweet all the time and looking pretty. She also provides something for little kids to touch, rather than the race car.
Note: Misty died August 24, 2006 and will remain a part of this crew and web site as long as the Raging Eagle Racing Team is still racing.
